Topic: Place for debugging errors on crash?
Hi Team
Just wondering if you have a place for debugging error and what not for crashes?
Edit: The Crash reporter crashes also.

You can send the crashlog*.dmp file found in your game directory to crash@perpetuum-online.com (preferably zipped).
Thanks Zoom. Will send them over shortly.
Will there be a tool to have a look at the dmp file yourself?
If not someone might come up with a reversed engineered tool that reads them.
Just giving a heads up that you might need to obfuscate some of that info.
obfuscate... programing language...
it's obfuscated if you don't have a degree in programing. otherwise it isn't.
What you're asking for is additional work to satisfy one idiot's (and i am using the term idiot appropriately here) interest.
They have better things to do.
Spys sappin my dump file!

It's merely about protecting ones intellectual property because dump files can give away some of the inner working of the client. Or give this idiot opportunities to find bugs to exploit. Obfuscating the output shouldn't be rocket science to implement.
If a crash dump is made then the users should already be aware of what caused the crash. If the developers were worried about security I'm pretty sure it would be more secret and obscured. They only wrote their own engine so I guess they wouldn't know anything about security or protection. I mean, have you looked at a crash dump? Does it contain a list of all the game exploits? I've not tried to open one yet as I'd assume it to contain lines and lines of code much like a DXDiag report does. However if it really is a gold mine of credit card details and treasure maps I'll get right on it! Thank you kindly good sir!
.. .That is of course unless you were talking out your rear end and making a "Look, I want it to seem like I know what I am talking" post... But you wouldn't do that now, would you?
