Topic: Bot warping to stuck location

My Argano managed to get stuck on a non-passable terrain two days ago.
The exact tile was 802.00, 1195.00

I was walking from terminal to scan location, when my bot warped backwards in it's path. Instead of being where I had walked to, it returned to a previous location (I think) which was inhabited by this lovely rock. Attempts to move or escape were impossible.

Maybe this is a lag/latency issue. closing and re-logging into the application resolved the issue, but could also have destroyed my bot given different circumstances.

Re: Bot warping to stuck location

That sounds fmailiar to what happened to me when I started running a hevy download in the background. Every now and then the game seemed to get 'stuck' on one spot. Relogging freed me for a while, but it would happen again elsewhere.

Re: Bot warping to stuck location

Well, I play off satellite, so poor bandwidth is *always* an issue, during peak hours i don't even bother deploying because the netcode will delay me approximately 1-2 minutes per command, and that's if I don't do anything.

It's really super bulky, wish they would trim it down a bit. but eh, maybe they already are, and this is just a false client to implement balance and design changes, when they might release a completely different client/engine/reduced bandwidth reqs.

Otherwise, I really am not safe moving outside of terminal XD

Since the last patch you can walk out of blocked tiles if you get dropped into them for any odd reason.
