i like to mine what i need and not stuff i dont need.

this also has the danger that some ores might be gatherd in biger quantity as needed because its a side product of other ores that are needed more often. then these ores will be worth nothing. and this will be hard to ballance.
and the unified system will make no big difference in the end. if you need 10ku resources then you need to mine X hours. if you get multible resources from one spaot will not make it less work. and in the end you have to change locations just as often as well. you want less of a work, then increaed yield is the only thing that might do that. as well as auto switch tiles and out put loot to container.

aoe and more range would be nice, has been discussed countless times before. but yea would be nice to have.

other things might be way more relaxing: dont kills plants when harvested to zero or option to stop harvesterns when at 1 left.

Zortarg you bring up a great point.

I would actually like to see this done with plants rather then minerals.

But most likely same problem.
