Topic: 3D visualization of target

Just a small addition to give more atmosphere to the boring long-range combat:

Option to show in a targeting computer a 3D model of target in realtime (sort of attaching a 3D camera to the target), instead of target icon.

Are you thinking of something like this?

Yeah like this, or even like you attaching camera over enemy bot - then each target will have its totally unique picture.

+1

Re: 3D visualization of target

I also think this is really nice (assuming its like whats in the screen shot) and would love to have it in the game, but there are other things I would prefer to see first.. So +1 but a low priority +1..

Re: 3D visualization of target

Partly that, that old thread looks a bit like asking for a target painter... which we have wink

Re: 3D visualization of target

nope, i wasn't asking for target painter, i was asking for a target camera. Thas was Alexander derailing the topic in that direction.

Target painting is a completely different matter. Target camera shows you at least which weapontype the target has equipped, or what color his bot has. It would not even reveal whats around that target as long its not visible on landmarks.

Target painting makes a target pop up on your overview / landmark list, thats all.
