Hey, if that's a big enough reason to quit a game that is 'really good' (in your words), have fun with that. I play games cause they're fun. I don't find dumb reasons to quit them.

Cheers, and the best of luck to ya.

I know. My post still stands? Games in the same genre often have very similar UI's. It cuts down on learning curves for people that frequent the same type of games. Don't fix something that isn't broken.

But if your conscious won't let you hop around, sucks to be you. It's a game.

1:1? If PO was in space I would agree with you 100%. You need to look at these games as being in the same genre. It's like a WoW player refusing to play any other similar MMO because there are elves, quests, minimaps, spells, and dungeons in both, and they don't want to betray Blizzard. They aren't the same game, they are in the same genre.

It's cool if you want to quit, I just think it's silly that your reason for qutting is because you feel you are betraying the Eve developers. If you enjoy the game, play it. I wouldn't be surprised at all if some of the Eve developers go home and fire up Perpetuum. (Not saying they do, but if I found out they did, it would make sense; they enjoy this type of game).

Who cares if it's similar to Eve? You obviously like the genre of game. Play it and have fun. If they made PO completely different, your post would be "why not take elements from Eve, a successful game in this genre?"

My buddy had the same thing happen to him. He equipped a small armor repairer, a geoscanner and a plate on his Mk2 newbie mech and they disappeared never to be seen again.

I don't know what's up but it is quite annoying.

Yeah he's talking about me. I got a mk2, switch my items over and deployed. I forgot to pick up the next assignment so I went back in to the terminal. My geoscanner, armor repairer, and small armor plate were gone. I just equipped them on my mk2 1 minute before. I emptied my cargo on the mk1 into my my inventory, so they aren't there.
