So, since the steam launch i couldnt help but notice the Q system that was added. Having just currently had a 20 line Q (Which is very good) it got me wondering. Is it possiable that we can have 1 server(or as needed based on avrage populations) for each island? That would allow room to grow and most you could add with that is maybe a total number of online players. yikes

maybe we could see some thing between heavy mech and medium mechs?

Or how about some thing that can actually move fast! Sorta like a scout bot for either each faction or make it a syndicate bot >.>

So the more I have been playing perpetuum I have started to wounder.

Why are there so few mechs in perpetuum? Each faction has say.. 6 mechs total? 2 EWar mechs (Small and medium) and just different sized bots that deal damage. Heck they all almost have the same bonuses as well.

Any chance we can see some more mechs ?

Having played EVE before prepetuum, id say the big reason for me. Is i feel the industry portion to feel much more alive in prepetuum then in eve online. not to mention i like the the world/universe the devs created with a planet full of living "thing".

I also wanna see where prepetuum goes in the future. So much potential here. Though when the dropped the sub fee thats what really made me go: I NEED TO PLAY THIS NOW!
Since before I just had eve.. and I didnt want another sub fee.. fuuu

ANy thing to make the islands feel more a live would be welcome! Heck seeing the occasional ship in the water would be so neat the first few times.. Or seeing some kind of wild life moving between the trees. A lot of the island is baron and is just polygons with a basic texture on it. some bump maps/more trees on the hills and mountains would be very lovely. Or seeing the faction structures on the island being more active would be neat as well.

Some up to date char creation would be really nice.

I was very much bugged be the early 2000 era char creation. Dont get me wrong once i got into the game world it was sweet. But the creation is AWEFUL >.<

On top of that, could we maybe see either a out of game tool. Or let the mech fitter in game give us more detailed information on our mech in terms of damage/repair amount/is the mech stable. All of this is very important information that the current screen sorta lacks.

Same kinda goes for the kill broad to. or at least it feels like it since i can never see the fits of the mechs killed.

TLDR; More information for fits and kills/deaths.

Naw, if anything use alpha islands are a start point then just make the other islands get better from there/ let the stations out there have better facilities/infrastructure.

Hey i was just wondering if there is any chance that some animation updates are planed in the pipe?

Currently perpetuum looks very dated and the bots dont really interact much. So I was just wondering if we can see any visual improvements later down the road?

A example, it would be cool to see bots heads turn more often/examine the environment around them, or seeing their eye lights turn on at night. Heck on the miner bots they have little fingers on the arms. Maybe we could see the fingers close or maybe see the bot reach for its own hand, sorta like WALLE. Or maybe we could see some better walking animations for the biped bots along with some smaller tweaks and improvements to the smaller 4/6 legged bots as well. Maybe on some of the bots we could see them wiggling and "playing" with there weapons when they are idle/not in use.

I get the factions are robots, but surely in the context of the game- they are extremely advanced and have formed their own societies so surely it wouldnt hurt to add a little bit of personality to each one. Heck Id love to see the small indy hauler make some sort of noise when its close to a larger bot, as to imply that it was jealous of it, or actually show a Gargoyle examining some thing as you where harvesting, or a termis turning its head and actively tracking moving player bots occasionally, or letting the bot at least look around a bit more.

Just a few suggestions to go along with the questions ^^ lol

okay so i fixed it my self.

Turns out after the uninstall it doesnt remove EVERY thing. or at least it didnt in my case so i had to go into my games folder and remove the files after a restart (Apparently it was still being used in the back ground after i ended the process.) Now after a fresh reinstal it all works now.

So i updated my prepetuum when the patch game out.. main issue was now tho is that it will get past the "connecting to data server" stage.

So ive tried uninstalling the game but that still didnt fix it. Any chance i can get some help here?
