Hey all,

I would like to request that additional information be generated for sales income directed to the corporation:
- Location that the revenue came from
- Remaining quantity pending sale if any

The reason I ask is that it would simplify keeping track of corporate market presence by seeing where the actual sales are coming from. As it stands now the only way to figure that out is by checking with each individual character that has posted a sell order for corp.

Apologies if this has been suggested before. :-)

Given the new imperatives in gaining standing for sparks, I'm kinda hoping for at least one semi-easy mode indy mission. ;-)

I suppose integrating it into a mine*anywhere* for X, refine for Y type makes balanced sense.

Ahh, thanks for the info. Yeah, understood.... I read the devblog in too much of a hurry to grasp the nuance. :-)

Hey all,

If I recall correctly.. always a huge if... weren't EP costs supposed to be reduced? I'm staring at some skills that are actually more expensive. I believe Intensive Mass Prod went up for one, probably others...

Do sparks have anything to do now with skill acquisitions?

@Arga,

I don't see it as an issue. The rewards for level 0, 1 and 2 missions are quite small. Would a high level refiner bother just to get an extra 50k per mission? If he did, with high refining, then I suggest that he really needs to analyze his time/nic ratio expenditure -- totally a waste of time.

Perfect refining is by itself in theory a NIC faucet: sit in level 3 terminal, post buy orders for rares, post sell orders for commods. Leaving that to do level 1 and 2 missions seems fail. ;-) I am assuming this is the main consideration for making the refining skill so damn expensive. :-)

However, I see your point on potential abuse. Make the cash rewards low, but a reasonable standing reward. Introduce an actual cap on the mission instead of a rotating-limitation.

Alexander,

Sounds good. Re-read your post, and I get your point -- one DEV is specialized in the graphics engine, everyone else works on core content. My general concern is that from my point of view the graphics are fine. I have a good system, I can presently run about 7 clients without any issues, so its not that I'm complaining about having to upgrade.

In general, I'm anxious to see a growing playerbase and more content in the game with graphics being a very distant non-problem.

However, I do applaud the work being done -- and pretty graphics will help attract; so its all good I guess. :-)

@Annihilator,

Acting as a rational economic actor, does it make sense for anyone to gather helioptris and sell that raw resource to the market? I contend it does not. :-) And judging by prices listed in "Rates" it only made sense for about one day on 8/17 in recent times... and well before that back in june and may.

And while one may be beets, and the other wheat when comparing say triandlus and helio... one has been pretty consistently an under-performer when analyzed as to its volume. ;-)

Taking the existing average price, eliminating the volume penalty and IMHO the problem goes away. Even if the price falls it still would be closer to a reasonable economic decision to gather and sell.

I recognize that there is very low demand, I've been seeing the same quantities listed for days now without apparent change. However, it is my belief that the high volume coupled with the fact that less of it is needed in manufacturing has basically made this raw resource useless to both buyers and sellers. Need helio, gather it directly. Gathering something for sale to the market? Anything but helio.
