Would be totally cool of you to PM me all names who have endless riches and unlimited resources. Been trying to sell a Vanguard Mesmer for 2 days now, for 5b (cheaper than token shop). No luck yet.

You are *** *** and completely ill informed.  The beacon pits didn't cause inflation you eetard.  It did the opposite it flooded the market with goods.  Causing too much supply and no demand.  Reason mineral prices bottomed out.

Confirmed.

A lot of Kernels, Fragments and T1 mods was generated during the beacon pit.

Plasma generated was pretty low in comparison. (Source: Market rates during beacon pit times)

There are diminishing returns for relation rewards.

*e.g.:
30 per mission at 0-100
10 per mission at 100-200
0.2-0.3 per mission at 600-700

So you might need to do like maybe 600 missions to reach 700.

*numbers may not be correct, just an example

Starting prices lowered to 5b.

You haven't purchased this from the token shop, did you? (Asking to check whether our statistics code works.)

Well I got it for free as a gift as reward for that Steam review thingy, so not complaining at all.
Now that it's nothing special anymore, I'm better off liquidating it for something else.

Maybe I have this all backwards but:

You get 100,000 tokens by doing ~322 level 6 missions (100,000/310).

5,000,000,000/322=15,5 million NIC

Do you get that much NIC from a single level 6 mission? Cause if not, then that's a sink in my eyes.

I’m considering Beta missions with a twelve man squad and 5X multiplier.

On Beta you would get 620 tokens per level 6 (100,000/620) which is ~ 161 missions.

Average Beta payout is about 60m per level 6 so 9660m NIC.

It's about 45m (70+45+25/3) on average per level 6 combat mission. Max extensions and full squad.
This is the highest possible reward right now for which you need 11 additional people in squad. You can only run one mission of the same level in the same squad.
We should keep in mind that the majority of players will probably run missions on alpha.

Zoom - will you put credit values next to the items so they can be bought for cash?

+1.

Nothing wrong with micro transactions as long as there are other ways ingame to get these items.

Black robots need more tokens the rest is fine.

500 k for Black robot.

Guys, you need ~10-14-20 T4+ item to equip a robot dont forget that!

T2+ and T4+ costs look fine. Black robots should initially be more expensive. ~20 times more than T4+ stuff.

Making industry even bigger pain in the *** is definitely gonna fix the economy.

Let us individually adjust the difficulty of assignments.
A slider between 1-10(or more?) in the main assignment window, equivalent to members in squad.
The custom difficulty setting will overwrite the increased difficulty caused by number of members in squad.

Why?

  • Allows people to play the difficulty they're comfortable with. No need to leave squad if it's too hard or fill the squad with members if too easy.

  • More challenge = more reward and content. See: Diablo 3 etc, they have tons of difficulty settings that keep people playing.

Sup... So Im guessing the DEVs have done something wrong again? Im curious now why has epi spiked in price? (I just read the OP, stuff reading all those posts tongue )

TL;DR:

  • Epri prices range between 15 and 20, NOT 40-50. Jita obviously overdramatized this part.

  • Beta to alpha risk/reward ratio is now working perfectly fine. Anyone can access missions on beta, not just the veterans, giving the newer players a chance to catch up, NIC-wise. (beacon pit was only accessible to few)

  • We need good NIC sinks(Syndicate Store requiring tokens + nic)

  • Materials from gathering missions should flow to market.

maybe one of the AC DEVs should log into Elite Dangerous for a moment, and check the bulletin board there. the number of mission templates there is more or less equal to what we have here. but running the same mission 100 times in a row at the same place requires you to seriously exploit a certain game mechanic...

That would basically look like every assignment pickup location (bases and field terminals) would give you every template once, and you can complete all of them once during a fixed timespan (say, a day). This would probably slow down the grind, and make you move around the islands.

This sounds terrible. Introduce a reward capacity for each terminal and field terminal. 100% default capacity. Completing missions for this terminal will reduce its reward capacity by x%. Capped at 25%?

Like energy, reward capacity can never be destroyed. On average the capacity will always be at 100% on an island. It will merely move to the least used(or random) terminal and filling its capacity up to 150% .

Just like boobs. Squeezing left boob will inflate the right one.

I have suggested this already before you introduced the new assignment system.

Perhaps you could balance gathering missions and make each mission put the minerals on the market.

We probably could. The big question would be, for how much.

I like this idea. Maybe connect the prices to average assignment rewards from gathering missions per island.

E.g.
You get 10NIC for each Helioptris doing harvesting assignments on average on Asintec Alpha.
NPCs put all delivered Helioptris on market for 11-12 NIC, so there would be some NIC sink after it's sold to producers.

Also, I've never seen so many people doing pve on beta before. People were whining a lot lately that beta islands are worthless and not worth living on. Right now it is well worth it.

AFK or people not paying attention deserve to die on beta.

With the growing number of Steam users we'll need to do some alternative subscribing option for them, as we don't know their emails.

Why not make it mandatory for Steam users to enter their email ingame before even creating an agent?

or like "Hi new guy, verify your email and receive 200 Credits and additional 10k EP"

Well done on the sale and upgrade packages!  I just barely found out at the end of the Steam sale while checking this site as I do from time to time:

http://steamcharts.com/app/223410

I was wondering why Perpetuum was seeing a spike in players and looked up the latest store page on Steam to find the new low price and the upgrade and premium packages.

Perhaps consider sending out an email detailing the new price structure and upgrade options that may get some people back playing again.  I happened to stumble into it myself, but I am sure there are many other older players that have no idea of the new options.

I was able to get a few friends to sign up before the sale ended and signed up for a new Premium account myself (never had one on Steam before) because of the new boost to EP you could get with it.  I will also most likely boost my old accounts as the price is right and they could use it.

I just wanted to add that it was solely because of this decision that I ended up noticing it again, getting a few friends to try it out, and get myself to spend another $80 or so to play again to help my new friends and join back up with the pop increases.

They did send out newsletters. You have to opt-in. https://secure.perpetuum-online.com/acc … gedetails/
