Haha Xadhoom, you still have no idea... This gets better every day.

Brilliant trolling.
He was there, you just weren't alive long enough to see him.

Why do Devs need to interfere in an out off game website is beyond my comprehension. -1

Do you not understand how non-affiliated sites ARE a representation of the DEVs and there products? What are new players supposed to think when you go on there are see people spewing racists, homophobic, and hateful remarks at each other. What about Valve, say Perp applies for Steam. Valve starts to look into the game to see if it meets the requirements, and is a product they would like to see on steam. They come across the kill boards and see that ****. What are they supposed to think?
I hope your being ironic, cause if you don't understand how that affects their game and their product, you should never be put into a PR position, or own your own business.

Its not 'The kill boards' its 'A kill board' imagine how hard it will be to moderate 10 kill boards and 50 player made blogs just for the sake of PR, it's not possible. Not in any way defending any hateful speech at all, just a pity we had to loose some freedom.
its a riddle why we have only one external killboard, while the official game hompage has only a kill counter.

Check the comments, and this game has been on steam for ages.

BINGO!
Moderating 3rd party websites "just because" will create a negative blow back. I mean seriously grow a pear and suck it up nancy. I mean I distinctly remember a certain corps website being put in the spot light and a CEO paid the consequences "just because" and now 6 monthes later it's ALRIGHT! Talk about flip flop.
Give us an official AV supported Killboard with comments tied into our accounts on the forums. That shows ewar and cargo holds/fits...etc...
He was there, you just weren't alive long enough to see him.
Heh, touche .. you would be correct. A fun fight anyways.
@ Celebro
I agree with you. Sometimes there were some great quotes on there, and a little friendly trolling is never a bad thing. The simplest solution is to have an official killboard run by the DEV's and make users log in to post, but until they implement it, I don't support any 3rd party kill board with anon comments.

You'd be suprised what kind of off-game-website stuff they'll use as an excuse one month, then invent grey areas the next month when it would mean shutdown time.
Also more on-topic, while I dislike most of the Anonymous sh*t that gets spewed on the killboard, I can't deny that I visited the site and checked the kills for those priceless lulz-comments a lot more often before then I do now.
Point 1; It's worth mentioning that out of the two killboards Perp had, both of their owners quit the game a long time ago. Theoretically, Mitix could decide he's tired of paying for/administrating a domain/webspace for the killboard for a game he stopped playing years ago. That should be fun, right?
Point 2; The politically correct bullsh*t. You cannot police the internet for everyone who says things you don't like. In fact, trying to will only make it happen more often. The Devs will not police their own game for everyone who says homophobic/racist stuff. Hell, people get called n*ggers and a f*ggots on a day-to-day basis. Why? Well for one, if they ain't policing for gifted accounts when the EULA says only the creator can use it, I'd wager they don't have enough subs to afford being too moral and rule-abiding.
Overall there are only really three solutions;
a) If enough people are missing the comments so much, eventually someone will make another killboard with allowed comments that pulls things from the existing killboard/allows users to post kills/pulls from api/whatever.
b) If enough people want an official killboard, eventually in about 2-3 years we should get one.
c) If nobody really gives a sh*t, we'll just keep calling each other n*ggers, f*ggots etc in-game like we already do.
Either way should be interesting to watch, carry on with your discussions.
I simply asked Mitix whether he would consider turning off the comments. He did so without even replying. He could have said no and I would have accepted it. End of story.
