Topic: An effort to lower market prices

As the market has been in unusually bad shape as of late, I've lowered many T4 prices on the market significantly and instituted a bulk scheme for larger buyers and newer corps (http://forums.perpetuum-online.com/post/49688/#p49688). Hope most of you find it helpful!

Re: An effort to lower market prices

Little off topic but there are still producers supplying t1 and t2?  Or is that market so small its not profitable?

If you weed out the t1 loot drops, then the rest is quite profitable, though turnover rates is much lower than t3/t4.

Re: An effort to lower market prices

Pretty much what Celebro said, those are actually profitable (some really quite high), but turnover is slow, especially these days with the low population!

Re: An effort to lower market prices

Ty Lucius for clearing that up.  I was wondering why there's a huge lack of t1 on the market.

Re: An effort to lower market prices

Another thing, there's always plenty of complains about "can't find T2/T3 mods!1!1" everywhere, and as I mostly do T4 I haven't really put much effort into improving that (mostly as I'm limited by factory slots).

To try to alleviate that:

  • Which T2/T3 mods do you demand the most? I can probably help out on some specific mods if there seems to be enough demand.

  • I can offer cheap T2/T3 prototypes to help others grow life into that market. Just pm/convo me.

Re: An effort to lower market prices

How about some cheap T4 protos =P

You wish! But the bulk deals I offer now are really well-priced.

Re: An effort to lower market prices

Looking from pure PVM perspective: I guess most of the weapons, weapon mods and tank are the most important T2-3 stuff to have on the market. I think weapons are >the< most important.

Anyway, nice effort, thumbs up.

Re: An effort to lower market prices

T2 weapons, T2 tuner, t2 resist plates, t2 med accumulator

I put up most t2 med weapons, tuners and accumulators.

Re: An effort to lower market prices

If you up to it, you could also put some t2p on the market, probably save you some factory slots. wink

I'll try to do that later this week when I get some free slots.

Re: An effort to lower market prices

Not to mention, some players actually want to equip T2P items, so expect a high demand.

Re: An effort to lower market prices

In case of armor plates T2P is in fact very much the way to go, the weight savings are enormous and the build cost are quite reasonable, even for use in PVP. Profit can be made there no doubt!

Because T2P is a fitting and weight optimization of T1, you should focus on those modules that are used in PVP and weight a lot in T1. For PVE fitting and increased performance is the area to look into. Everything that people use on their logistic bots, tuners and weapon systems is what work well.

In my own case, for PVE combat I use T3P machine guns in combination with T4P tunings. This saves a lot of ammo for the firearms platform at only a modest decrease in DPS, which is compensated for mostly by the tunings. Other weapon systems might fair similar in combining tiers, I would need to investigate that first...

Oh and if you found you sold all shield hardeners in Tellesis.....me bad, just had 3 accounts slip into heavy mech and glider haulers smile.

Re: An effort to lower market prices

Sadly there has been low interest in the T2 prototypes and I've taken them down due to not enough market orders (http://forums.perpetuum-online.com/topi … rder-time/).

Would you sell them by request?

Looking forward to new players and new conflicts.
