I think some slight, very slight, counterbalancing might be needed to tweak some things.
Im never a fan of large, game impacting, mega balancing changes in any mmo...I think things should be done slightly and over a long period of time.
The result of high impact balance changes is over reaction from the community.
This patch saw just about every bot changed in a significant way, in a lot of cases more than what was needed to effectively balance bots.
I like what the goal of the patch was, however I think they could have buffed assaults, made heavies more tanky, and made light mechs more ??? demob reistant?? without the heavy handed nerfs we saw.
Im sure the balance change took a lot of time and dev work to do, so I don't think they are just going to undo it, despite I think the game was overall in a better place balance wise prior...at least in terms of bots having a real and necessary use on the field. I think just a flat boost to assaults and nothing else would have been a better first step. Then followed with very small, and incremental, balance changes to heavies and light mechs.
