Topic: research facility for Gamma

Could we condense CT merging and Decoder lab facilities into one.

The thing is the decoder lab was taking away value from high lvl decoders. And as the aim of Decoders is to get high point CTs . Aside from that there is little facilities space and limited CPU for 2 extra facilities so not why turn it it to a very useful all in one system.

Research Facility.

Insert kernels to get 10%-20% more points , this will also take some time and NIC, but will take most advantage of kernals.

Similar to the CT lab but takes time to merge CTs I think the idea of instant results is somewhat OP.


The idea behind its want to take kernals to gamma and need to commit kernal research time which would be of high advantage but kernal could be lost in facility if lost, so a big reason to defend and not taken down.

Decoder lab was terribly unbalanced NIC wise. It was, by a mile, cheaper to get decoders form the open market. In the end it was used only in the odd cases when people needed a particular level decoder and didn't have it handy. No surprise, it's hard to balance something against a moving target.

Your idea is quite interesting btw.
