Chassis scanners should save scan results somehow, that will make them less useless at least.
Wouldn't say they are useless but having some kind of history would be good.

it isnt like i haven't requested that constantly.
i would add: merge chassis and cargo scanner! wasting one headslot for an almost useless equip module is already a penalty, but two...
i could also renew request: scanner = misc slot item, not headslot. but due to certain circustances, its hardly imaginable that we will see anything new that needs a 3D mesh...
... and make them lock independent (mentioned in previous thread) so they can be used stealthily.

But seriously +1 to the op and +1 to making it a mid misc slot and +1 to being able to do it without the target knowing. Would make another excellent role for a good stealth EWar bot to perform.
