Topic: Servers down/freaking out

Hi. I don't actually know where this post belongs so sorry if its in the wrong place

The server has been freaking the hell out since about 18:20 Game time and i was just wondering if there is any sort of news on why or when it will be fine again?

I have 2 clients logged in with about 250000 ping (not an over exaggeration) and i have been watching General as the accounts just kinda pop out a few at a time down to 21 now so i know the servers are not offline because my mining lasers mine 1 cycle every like 5 mins.

Any news would be awesome thanx smile

Yes, some kind of explanation would leave my mind at ease. This is happening too frequently, if a daily server reset helps with this, might be time to do it.

Maybe the green light release is an explanation? 

I would have expected the Devs to make an announcement.

Seriously... I don't even login there.  My 9yo was shocked!

yes patch: Server will be down for a patch on 2012-10-16 from 16:00 CEST (delayed from 12:00). Estimated downtime will be an hour.

Edit: Patch was to fix bugs and server issues, and new 'vicinity chat'. smile

Vicinity chat.. interesting. I hope it doesn't share the same issues as "local" in EVE.
