Topic: Mining Tower coverage...

Just wonder, if theres already someone out there who has covered a large part of an island with mining towers - and if not, then i ask - WHY not. (rheotorical question...)

AFAIK it was meant that way by DEVs.

Probably because the only mineral that requires a mining tower nearby is colixum, everything else can be mined the normal way and quickly. The logistics and time and resources to build a mining tower near a field negates its use everywhere.

Disclaimer: not a huge miner so I could be wrong on the mechanics here.
