Hello

Right now Combat Log got some flaws:
1) If you miss with 1 turret out of 4 I can't see this in combat log - I see only "miss" when I miss with all canons. Otherwise I need to count how many "hits" there are.
2) I can't see what turret did how much damage. If i have different ammo in each turret and i shoot all at once I can't tell what damage is from what turret. Also if I have 2 canons and 2 EM I can't tell what turret do what damage.

I propose adding in combat log info about "slot" in which cannon/laser/launcher is, and when hit misses from a single turret info about it also.

And see the resist of each damage would be great too. Atm the ship name is writen, would be better if name was written.

yep its looks good too me.Maybe add some color to this like:
[20:10:11]:You hit the ground with laser#3
[20:10:12]:Rookie Mantis hit you with missile#1 for 40(-45)Dmg [30(-25)S, 10(-20)T

Or something colors maybe be diffrent smile

It's easily done as I asked once before what's really logged compared to what's displayed and honestly everything is sent.

I dislike the waffle though. Short and sweet is nice. the combat log in game only shows the last few events but the logged file (Can be disabled) should contain a little more information. However I don't think it should display each damage type and the resisted amount. That should still require a scanner or knowledge of the game.

This is a short example of the available combat message and some added new ones that I believe would help the combat log a lot.

  • Damage Absorbed = Shield hit.

  • Damage = damage done (total damage - resisted damage).

  • Every time you hit an obstacle the log should update.

  • Accumulator Neutralised = neutralised from enemy (neutralised from you).
    You can only see this when neutralising an enemy, not being neutralised.

(as far as i've heard part of this is INC, as in updates to this log area is already planed. But keep pushing it as it will give them more incentive.

for my part, i would like to see the combat logs reduced to having 1 per session, not 1 per teleport/dock
