Newb question incoming, why do the kill mails not contain modules on the victim? and if not is this one of those planned but not real important features?

PBS Structures losses are already tracked for the owning corporation.

@Eta - Currently no they are not shown, there was a movement awhile ago to have this feature enabled and it was largely disputed. There are scanning modules if you are that interested in your victims gear.
