Topic: Cargo Mod

When fitted, would allow other members of the squad to access the cargo area of the bot it's fitted to, could even have a related skill to extend effect. This would be really useful harvesting operations as well as mining in areas where the ore deposit is small and spread out.

It would be nice to introduce a tractor beam module which can be used on cargo cans when the can is locked.
It would then drag the can around with you as you move. it would need to decrease your movement speed quite a bit so that people just didn't drag cans back to terminal.

The other 'mentionables' about the dragging.

Infinite can space needs to be fixed. Otherwise it would be used for hauling 100k U of materials between outpost, even at 1kph; which would still be faster than 417 trips with a lithus at 59 kph. This is already in the works, but in any case, there will probably be some 'distance' limitation from the initial drop.

To OP-

This wouldn't eliminate the need for cans unless you have multiple haulers. Meaning that (1) symbiot would fill up a lithus, then have to wait with a full cargo while the lithus hauled the load back to the outpost, or you would have to have a second hauler standing by.

Where this could be abused is in AFK mining, setting up a miner on HDT (or a high yeild Riv MK II on Red tiles) and having it fill a lithus directly. Currently AFK mining is limited to the internal cargo size of the bot mining. This would need to be addressed before implementing direct to cargo transfer.

Could be used the time to transfer items, and while transfering both can´t do nothing more.

And can be 1 minute for 1 U, this will be great to transfer small things but worst for big haulers.

And maybe an extension to increase the rate, but always using the smallest lvl.
