Topic: Notice that the Mesmer has a higher base AP than Seth?

Gropho 3250
Seth 4000
Mesmer 4125

I just found that a bit funny. Seths max AP bonus is slightly negated by this fact.

T4 HCL laser = 30 ap/shot, 6 sec cycle, 130% damage.

T4 EM gun    = 36 ap/shot, 10 sec cycle, 270% damage.

At the end, Seth still have more AP due to bonuces.

Adv. robotics lvl4 is minimum to drive a heavy mech: 4000x120% = 4800AP

so to correct lines answers: seth still has much more (16%) base AP then mesmer, no matter how you look at it.

It's not a bonus at all. You simply need the AP to fire your guns. It's like giving medium EM guns a hit dispersion of 15 and the related bots a "bonus" to hit dispersion to negate the disadvantage (in exchange for another bonus of course).

AP is actually more useful the any specific module bonus. More AP means more repping, increase cycle time, and longer firing time. It's probably going to get nerfed.

tldr: AP = live longer, more damage
