Topic: Optimal Range E-WAR

Hello all,

i`m very new in the game and i want to do the ewar way. Actually i just look at the different robots and the possibilities and the specials of it.

For the relation i will choose as example the mechs:
- Ictus [green] (Locking Range 300m) - Bonus on optimal range about 5% for energy modules
- Zenith [yellow] (Locking Range 300m) - EW optimal range bonus 5%
- Vagabond [blue] (Locking Range 350m) - no bonus on robot for optimal range

So - i know you can upgrade the optimal range with a lot of things but it only exists a NEXUS module which increase the optimal range about 7,5% (as T4 item) for EW modules. This NEXUS won`t affect the energy modules of the green bots.

Green(Pelistal): Energy draining/Energy neutralizing
Yellow(Thelodica): Sensor Dampening
Blue(Nuimqol): ECM

Is this your purpose? The yellow guys have the best optimal range? 75% more as the green in a full skilled NEXUS as example?

Maybe i`m wrong. Please correct me if this is so tongue

Best,
mrarzt

Re: Optimal Range E-WAR

Thelodica get the best range with any electronic warfare modules.
Energy warfare should be considered a separate section to electronic warfare.

A thelodica robot is usually suppressor or demob orientated where as the vagabond has a much more powerful ECM.

You got it. All you have to choose is which type you'd prefer to specialise in.

Re: Optimal Range E-WAR

I guess just nitpicking, but proper Nexus char will give far more than 7.5% ew range due to extensions. max being around 28%.

Re: Optimal Range E-WAR

Also a green bot can fit more range extenders.
As an Ictus Mk2 I can hit at 700+ metres, of course it's easier to get this with a Zenith.
This is really enough for anything you really want to do with it.
