After the patch today my norton SONAR keeps killing off the perpetuum client all the time, claiming that the file perpetuum_exereplace.exe file is dangerous and closes it all down. I've added the installation folders to the exclusions list but its still shutting it down. Any help?
The EXE got an update today rather than the GBF or they've changed the name of the replacement file. I had a similar issue but managed to get around by running the program myself with admin rights and not using a awful program like Norton.
Turn off Norton for a few minutes and try again? Run the EXE replacement program again and it should work.
yeah turns out i only set the folder as an exception to the scan not the instant check thingy so its fine now. And norton is fine once you put iti in its place tbh
I'd just go with microsoft security essentials.
