Small missiles got nerfed, even with t3 they will ahve less range they used to have, only with t4 will have around the same (in the way bonuses work in perpetuum).
The bad thing is that small and medium compact misisle range well below demob range. The other weapons at least can fire back in falloff zone.

switching from medium ballistic (pre patch) to medium compacts (now) to fight assaults will result in 150% more damage output
