Re: EWAR Lights too Cost-effective for PVP it makes other Bots Meaningless

Either increase the speed of no ewar light bots so we would have a choce what to bring: dps or crowd controll, or introduce the t2 variants of light bots: would have more speed, but would be more costly and require more skill to use (higher basic robotics maybe).

Yep, the truth is mechs are combat-unimpressive, expensive and they die too fast.
Yes you can make them tank if you sacrifice all your dps and speed - but what for?

I find myself completely agreeing with an AXE member, a sure sign that this is a real problem.

6 man group either ewar/speed or mix ewar/assault looking for someone to PvP with/for. We can supply our own *** just need some pointers and a target to hit. Can follow instructions, all adults. Contact Fylkra in-game via PM or email. Can't stomach forum PvP.

Random idea:  Make ewar lights cost more, require some epriton, or just use more valuable materials.  They have all those slots fit into such a tiny space while maintaining a very high speed.  There must be something much more complex about them than a standard light bot has.

Hydrobenol?  Espitium?  Polynitrocol?  Maybe one of those in modest amounts as well as longer production times could raise the cost of them a fair bit.

Do you pay tithe to your current overlords?

If not, would you be willing to adopt a tithing system to new overlords?

If the above answers are Yes -- please feel free to post an application for lemming incorporation on our forums.

Thank you

i would assume they should all have a head like a typical H.R.Giger Alien with all those headslots (also most EWAR modules having a 300kg mass, that head must be really heavy when filled with supressors and ECMs)

probably its just the designation and those "headslots" are just for some parts of the modules, and the rest is somewhere within the body (like the legslot stuff that would never be in the lower body)

now to the real answer:
ewar bots got 9, small combat bots 7, and assaults 11 slots.
while the combat bots have most of their slots external visible (weapons), the ewars got more internal slots.

Small Ewar bots wouldnt be that ultra-fast and cheap, if you would fit them with more ewar (like i wrote, 300kg per ECM/Supressor), and fill the third external slot with something "heavy".

Edit: wow, thats so "back2topic" (EWAR Lights too Cost-effective)
