so I've noticed two new things with npcs since the patch.  First off the claim timer doesn't reset to full after each module you use on a npc anymore.  The timer runs out then you have to reclaim the npc, makes it a little tricky to do multiple beacons if you can't keep the bots claimed. 
I also noticed that npcs that primary my combat will also be able to shoot my support without changing primary targets, hitting both my support and combat accounts at the same time.  Not sure if this is a bug or if you intended to change npc logic to add a slight challenge.

Thanks for the link to your topic Burial, thought the spark teleport idea was original but I guess not lol.  If anything happens with it in the future is another thing but I guess we can only wait and see. 

As for the Gamma islands it would still be cool to see some sort of way to customize them for optimized transport, if not teleports then possibly player built highways?  Just tossing stuff out there.

This is the first post I've made and I rarely come read the forums, so if someone already posted this I don't mean to be stealing your idea.  I've been playing Perpetuum for over a year now and one of the negatives I have found is the time it takes to travel through the islands.  With the new Gamma islands I also feel as if there is a bit of a void as well. 

Idea #1 Inner Base Teleport Network
A way to teleport as a spark in Niani throughout the 6 main terminals (ICS alpha/beta, TM alpha/beta, Asinitec alpha/beta).  This type of Inner Base teleporting would only move you and none of your activated robots, modules, material or other commodities.  As an additional means of transport the possibility of opening inner base teleports to friendly Beta outposts and Gamma terminals could be something a corp leader could establish, choosing which corps have access to their inner teleport system.

Idea #2 Customized Gamma Teleports
We've only just scratched the surface of how vast the Gamma islands truly are.  While transport between the islands using the outer island transport is efficient I propose a network of player built teleports.  These teleports would only allow corp members and other corps chosen by the owner to use them.  These teleports would also not be visible for everyone on the island to see, you must be within a set range to detect it.  Also they would not be accessible by deployable teleport beacons, unless your corp owned them or your corp has access to them.  There could also be two styles of teleports, inner island and island-to-island.

These are just rough ideas I came up with on a sleepless night.  Hopefully some of you agree that ease of transport is something that could help the game, please share your insight big_smile
