The question to think of now, is new website and one persistent game server, which will be managed, hosted and developed further by the team gathered from current community. That way it may lead to something new and interesting. It's better to come to some agreements and make one good server instead of dosens of potatoes.

Just @nother trash game

I mean just look at the steam graphs a player peak of 11 in the last 24 hours rofl

https://steamdb.info/app/223410/graphs/

Thats actually pretty good...

"291 all-time peak 3 years ago"
3 years ago but damn, 291. And it's Steam only.
That's what happens when devs give a damn and do real thing instead of licking butts with lower prices and easier EP progression.

I didn't mean intentionaly buying games in these region, but if it's really your region, it's one of the good things about it smile
Although it might be not a bad idea, but I'm from the cheap region too anyway smile

In most cases, there are no region restrictions on products purchased directly from the Steam store. However, products purchased as gifts may have region restrictions [source].

For it's price, it's a good game to have on your account. It can easily became on top of the time on record. So in terms of games, it's a good choice.

But if you're looking for really best deals and don't mind to wait for them and save a couple of bucks, then for the Steam games in general:
1. It's a big benefit to buy games in "poor" regions. Permanent price reduction can be signifficant(~40%)
2. Buy on sales and check on http://steamsales.rhekua.com/, if the current discount is highest of all times, and if not, how frequent they are. Also, if discount rates are increasing on charts then maybe it's a good idea to wait for better deal. Most games start with small discounts on initial game or new DLCs, but never do more than 75% discounts. in perpetuum, discounts are the same, AFAIK. -75% on game and DLC on every seasonal sale.

Well, for this price it's an okay choice.
Although I don't have good hopes for the game, it have some interesting things worth seeing.

I'm kinda fine with current state of the game. Seen better, seen worse.
But as devs can't even bother posting something, i'm outta this dump.

You mean theres a lack of communication from the Devs? Yet again perpetuums development team shows the same level of professionalism we've all come to expect

This is troubling, that even routine maintenance of things, like SSL certs, are not addressed.

Perhaps all of the devs forgot their logins...

And web address.
And where they've left the server with that game which name they have hard time to recall.

It can easily be "saved", all that needed is a bit of giving a damn from devs.

But I've thought it's dead already.
And what you see is the ghosts.

Well, that's what everyone do these days.
Everything except being in game roll

Another bull shed, apparently. There's no such thing as fun in this kind of games.

but if you take away everything, what example of a high rank player will there be for new players?

A robbed person unlucky enough to play this for too long.

People are delusional, thinking about crazy stuff when there's only one thing that determines if game will be "great again" - devs giving a damn potato about it.

But really I think this game is great the way it is, it just need a little population boost.

Yep, and revert a couple of patches.

MMOs tend to get worse with patches at some point, sometimes it's good time to make videos, events, advertising and other stuff instead of developing. Sad, but after looking at some examples, looks real.

Well, I'm glad that selling the game to its players is just a harmles fantasy smile

If this game is to succeed, catering to the whims of the ten people still playing is not likely to be a priority

There's much more people which can return in case of a miracle in this game development.
It's also good for reputation if there was no wipes. Not very motivating when devs press the delete button everytime they're in a bad mood, without real reason.

Full wipe is another brilliant idea how to make game finally "alive" for good.
Previous was switching from time-based progression to grind-based, halving the population.
Wiping every year is quite logical change after that. (because after a year some corps will have UNFAIR advantage)
I wonder how bad it can became before an official funeral roll

Is not about advantages

Is about new rules - new characters

That's why wipe shouldn't come alone but together with the some patch that changes the game mechanics

Changes to game mechanics doesn't require wiping.
In case of really drastic changes, resources can be converted to something equal (something like that happened in kernels patch), and if it'll also change a lot in skill's tree, move all point to unallocated. Simple.
