I strongly dissagree with this. It would increase the time waiting between targeting objects, would eliminate the targeted objects skills etc. Just go somewhere else if someone is targeting in advance. Makes things a bit more twitch if there is competition.

Its whines like this that dumb down games.

Yes, turn off player character icons. There are so many new characters that they are all  bunched up in one area. that will change. Turning of the icons will increase the performance quite a bit. Other than that, just turn down graphics settings...
