When I started in my Baphomet I tried several configurations, but the following matched my taste best:
6) Quick strike:
- 1xlaser tunings, 2xSensor amplifier
- 5xlight lasers
- armor repairer, light plate, lightweight frame (lwf)
At first glance it may look weird to equip a plate and a lwf, but it can make sense:
Fitting__________HP__ Speed
no lwf, no plate__1704  62,74
T1-plate________2130  59.64
T2-LWF_________1278  75.84
T1-plate+T2-LWF_1597  71.36 <-- best trade off between, speed, hit-points (hp)
This configuration shines especially against those pesky e-war npcs.
You have a very fast (re-)lock time with two sensor amps, when you lost your lock due to a ecm.
It is faster than (almost ?) all npcs and with the plate you have higher resists against demobs.

Thx, for the guide.
There seems to be a copy&paste error in the Baphomet Guide, from step 5) on, you are using EM-Guns there...
(5xT2 light EM guns;).

2: To see your dps, you can activate your combat log. there you can see the damage you do per shot and per target. In Options, there exists also an flag to save logfiles to disk including time stamps.

It's best to focus on one "area". Most people prefere specialists and use separate accounts for combat, industry, etc.

I agree 100%.
I'm in the same boat. I am a casual player, I am logging in for a little relaxation for an hour or two on one or two days a week (please note, that I still pay the full price for the subscription...).
In the actual situation, there is no way that I will enter beta.
Either you stop making alpha less attractive or I will do like the rest of my company (switch to another game).

+1

thx for supporting my point

Well, who said you will be excluded from this area, or otherwise, why should I be one of those persons ?
Look at the topics in this forum. How many of them are positive, constructive?
The few that do, disappear in the flood of negativity.

No,

IMHO there has to be a place where a player can vent it's anger.
But as it is now, every post is quickly burried by troll comments.

What about a spam and troll free forum area, where players who want to help the devs with constructive criticism, ideas, suggestions, ... ?

Nowadays it seems impossible to post a topic that is not filled with spam and trollings within a few hours.

How about a section of the forum, that is heavily moderated or to that only selected players have write access (all others will have read access...)?

@Jack: Well, done.

But I would like to suggest to not take perpetuum too seriously. It's just a game.
