Topic: Switch to desktop automatically [solved]

When I'm in full screen the game switches to desktop. It doesn't crash or freeze, just switch to my desktop. Then I have to click on Perpetuum on my taskbar to go back in the game. It's not that of a deal but really annoying. It could get chaotic and super annoying if I fight or in pvp.

Are you sure that some background process is not causing it, like Antivirus? Try disabling it briefly.

workaround - play in borderless windowed mode instead of fullscreen.
we had a similar problem under win8 in firefall on my wifes PC.

or find the process that keeps grabbing focus.

i found the problem. It was caused by AVG 2014. i removed it entirelly and now nothing switches to desktop. Feels good. It was annoying and causing me headaches as I'm recording videos for my youtube channel. So now I have to find the real cause of this and either reinstall avg 2014 or an alternative...

This was a wierd one since nothing popped up with a message ... just nothing at all.
