Topic: Greenlight release - everyone eligible for 2x EP for 6 mos. not free

costs an extra ICE per month and no more than 6 mos for anyone.   (maybe three months)

Every minute you get 2 EP instead of 1 provided you are paying.

Vets still stay high, now higher

Older Vets who stopped playing can catch up a little

New players can have some hope

This is a little more simple than my other idea.

Re: Greenlight release - everyone eligible for 2x EP for 6 mos. not free

I was never unsubbed.

This isnt about me, it is about other people.

This is about keeping people from Steam for more than 30 minutes.  This is about bringing back players who stopped playing.

There are like 30 actual people playing this game right now.  I wouldnt call that a loyal playerbase, I would call that something else.

I am here because I like shooting stuff.  Why are you here?

Re: Greenlight release - everyone eligible for 2x EP for 6 mos. not free

People from Steam would require lots of shiny interesting content, not EP - they always can collect those by keep subbing as we did, but they need a reason to stay subbed, and that's it.

Re: Greenlight release - everyone eligible for 2x EP for 6 mos. not free

Exactly what Line said. There should be enough content for different stages of character development to keep the players happy. They shouldn't just skip it all and jump into heavies and do end-game Beta/Gamma content.

scratch this idea

let's leave the past in the past and look to the future Steam Greenlight release.

One of the guys thought of this concept -

Re: Greenlight release - everyone eligible for 2x EP for 6 mos. not free

100% agree, but EP is part of it.

There are so many cool shiney things that could bring in $$ that is not being done here.

Mechwarrior Online is a perfect example of how something as simple as Paint and Patterns can take in 10's of thousands of $$$

Paintjobs are fine. Hangar decorational - gimme two. Ability to paint my corp tag and image on my robot - HELL YEAH.

But buying an EP will simply make all the content we have look lesser. Nia is already not that big, no need to shrink it more.

Re: Greenlight release - everyone eligible for 2x EP for 6 mos. not free

This game needs one thing IMO, and that is content and goals for people to entertain them between battles aswell as enough "carebear" content for those who are not into PVP. Perhaps more missions, reasons to explore islands, a more interactive environment, more aspects to farming/mining to make it less of a brainless grind...
If we have that we will also gain more players and a higher retention.
Different kinds of buying EP, or ice cubes, or whatever, does not add any content...  I'd even like to say the current system of subscription is one of the few things the DEVs got right and doesnt need any change what so ever!
