Tweaking the radar so it's affected by terrain would bring it in a different angle. You'd think twice before chasing that pesky arkhe that's hovering just at the edge of the mountain chain waiting for you, and ultimately it would go towards solving blob-or-die warfare if blobs dont have the all-seeing eye radar bubble around them.
