If I remember correctly it was reduced from the old 24h timer.

All the info I've found - is that observers were untouched by timer changes, only caravans.

my information was that the respawn timer is not a static intervall -

kill it more often and faster, and it will respawn in shorter times.

Respawn should be for all caravans 24h for gamma and ~1h for alpha.

Lolwut? That doesn't make any sense ... Gamma doesn't even have any static spawns so farming NPCs that roam is slow on a good day ... It would take me myself about 2 hours to kill every spawn on a Gamma ... Wtf do tou do for the other 22 hrs?

very bad idea indeed. seams you have not much experience with npcs on gamma.

my last info was that oberserver are on a 8h respawn timer, but that can be wrong. so some confermation from the devs would be nice.

if its correct and it is 8h then i see no reason to act. 8h is ok and is producing more then enough observer kernels.
obersers are the only real thing that is worth hunting on gamma, but too many to fast will not be good.

you can already sit on a single spot on gamma and sometimes no npcs show up for 2 days. and that is not because they dead and waiting for reaspawn...
we hope that with the pve patch the gamma island will also get some love... ala "wormhole style" or what ever ideas there are still out there.

Sorry I used a missunderstood term.

In my opinion these timers are the actually active values, which apply to all, not only observer.
My post contained no information about how I like this to be.

Ok ... If you are stating what you currently think they are thats different. But if it were like that you could "clear" your island in an hour once a day and then afk mine in total safety for the next 23 hrs.

I have some idea what the respawn times are but since its just a guess I wont bother sharing. But I'm pretty sure there's no time where a Gamma could be NPC free.
