Topic: [MCS] Can not connect enegry nodes to a reactor - Bug or feature?

as topic sais...

you can not connect any energy transmitter, backbone or battery to a reactor to "kickstart" it. it just sais "incobatible" connection.
what you can do is connect another reactor to it (if it is close enough)

so i find this kind of strange. if you can connect a reactor to another reactor then you also should be able to connect any other form of energy transmitter as well. either all energy connections should work or non at all...

What are energy cells for then? Opening Teleports only?


You are supposed to use energy cells to feed reactors quicker, if that was your intention.

Zortarg, are you running into a situation were you can't cut the reactor online because its not able to connect to the network?

surely not... just wanted to get things started a bit faster...
works quite well on batteries.. filled in a day if you have enough connections on it. and enough power to supply them.

I'm just making sure, I spent many hours pumping energy into those reactors before I found that out.... It would be nice if we got a user Manuel with some of this stuff.

I told that some CIR guys on TS when they built their first gamma base
-> response: nah, we have time and agents.
I told that some PHM guys on TS when they built their first gamma base
-> response: cool, lets do this, takes a few minutes

and noone forwarded that to you?
