So Blue and myself have been playing Terraria the last week or so...

I'm more into Minecraft myself. CIR's last server started by an unfortunate napalm bomb accidentally dropped from a plane on someone's tree house, and after a series of unfortunate escalations it ended with detonations that crashed it irreparably. 
Tekkit is a great mod btw. Shame no planes but oh well.

I played minecraft on a pvp server with Styx for a bit it was fun.
Didn't tekkit get replaced with an official mod that had all the permission from the mod writes, "Feed the beast"?
Minecraft eh Syn? ah i used to play minecraft and some other games with funjord and a few other friends pretty much all the time, that is.... until i found perpetuum!

I heard that the team/person that did technic did not get permission from all the people that wrote the different mods that it uses.
FTB was done to replace it and has permission from all the mod writers and their support.
I thought Minecraft Forge died in a fire? Still good link, definitely agree its worth checking out as most of the mods included in Tekkit/FTB are absolute gems.

also, looking for 'motioncraft' to be added to one of these, its pretty nuts mod (Ugocraft)

hm... i should get myself to start playing a bit of minecraft again, but that would mean playing gears of war 3 and perpetuum less

No mods needed. I am running mods on the server. Terraaria 1.2 which is the latest and last update for PC.
Won't buy a game which was discontinued for PC.
Yea I've been playing feed the beast on one of the goon servers. So much fun crafting is sooo in depth

LOL. They stopped development on it for the PC. But people mod the game. Tons of games that have been made and left alone. You're missing out!
