without an LoS indicator, reducing viewing range to reduce polygons on screen cannot be the only option forever.

you also need to fill the world with much more plantlife, yet you can't because it would make the game unplayable due to the lack of a propper LoD engine, and those "dying plant LAG" issues.

did someone ever mention Player bases with hundreds of nicely detailed defense towers? big_smile
DEV Melchior did a great job at all those buildings, but i doubt someone in DEV team realised how many of them you would see at the same time on screen under the conditions they got released to the playerbase.
