Topic: Building Block Costs.

Currently at market prices of ores it's 60% cheaper to buy the building blocks on the market verus manufacturing them.  Even if ore prices plument in the next few monthes, the Construction blocks are still cheaper to buy off the market then to manufacture.  Thats not including the cost of REing them and Decoders. 

What I am requesting is that the manufacturing costs be cheaper then the NPC seeded items.  Some of the Material requirements needs to be halved in order to be even close to the NPC buy orders.

Come on Devs, either reduce the build requirements or increase the seeded market cost.

The unknown in this equation of course is Colixum and also, the market price of Noralgis in no way reflects the cost of producing the stuff with seeded incubators, even on Alpha.

That said, the price of Colixum and Noralgis has to be around 5 nic a piece to be able to build a CB for the seed price of 175k. Or, if you give noralgis a price of 10 nic (a reasonable mark up on the cost of producing on alpha) then Colixum would need to be 2.5 nic.

Either way, I don't really see the point of manufacturing a CB. Personally, I'd remove the requirement for Colixum in CBs. Doesn't make sense to me that in order to build anything Gamma you need to already have built on Gamma.

Noralgis whill never be that cheap, and Colizum won't be either.  So once again still never going to be cheaper then the seed market.

At current system you can construct around 60-70 blocks in 2 hours. At the same time, you can farm and sell about 100k plasma for the same 2 hours, that will give enough money to buy 180-190 Syn-Tech blocks. Since there is no difference between them, the question is - WTF? Whats the point of wasting priceless Colixium on producing blocks at all if you still can buy them a lots cheaper?

Constructing amount should be changed to 10 at least, keeping material cost as it is - we already have an a Colixium there as a needed material.

It's funny, how you need Colixium to mine colixium... smile How about making the syn-tec ones (+ the normal ones) being able to build only the standard terminal, command relays and the mining facility? This way you get the MINIMUM you need to start your enterprise. You won't be able to create the reactor, advanced terminals etc. with the syntec building blocks.
Also, you would need more syntec blocks than normal ones (I would say, need 25% more blocks). This could also be a way to fix the problem - make all building need 25-50% more syntec blocks than regular.

At the same time you could think of making them take more space.

As an additional: blocks CT degrades at 1 per cycle. This can be a bug tho, cuz ammo/charges CT should degrade to 0.3 since last changes. Needs to be fixed aswell.
