Topic: High Speed Tackling.
True Story.
So on a nice foggy morning in Perpetuum, a wild cameleon appears in the distance. Startled by the appearence of this Cameleon, the Signal Detector starts frantactically panicing. But to his aid a wild corp mate also appears from the station. So thus begins the problem. Two Cameleon's racing out in the distance. At 120ish KPH. The Tackler is a hair fast but slowly calculating his turns, the angles and the plants to get the best position. The Tackler brings up his Short Range Demob information to determine his optimum range. 160m. Excellent. The tackler slowly watchs his landmark information as he gets in range. The external gates still 3k out, the would be intruders not making it out alive. The tackler reaches 160m, activates his demob.... nothing.. too far out. 150.... nothing... too far out... 130..... nothing.... too far out.. 100 METERS... Nothing. Then at 80 M is lands. Now to the dismay of the tackler they are less then 400 m out and the dps is still 2k out. The intruder escapes death.
Why do bots that are traveling over 120, together. Won't demob till less then 100 M instead of where the optimum range is suppossed to be?
This has happened three times now.
