Topic: Terrain not loading

Hi guys

When I load onto the terrain, everything shows, except for the ground.
All I see is the "ocean" which is under the world.

I can move my mech and do everything as usual, except, without terrain the fps is terrible as I have a whole screen of ocean. Also, obviously this sucks besides that.

During beta I had land, but since launch, nothing.

Weird thing is that I have terrain displayed on the initial log on screen with the mechs in the background.

Anyone have any idea's what could cause this? I've tried re-installing DX, my gfx drivers etc.
It's a nvidia geforce 8600m GT.

First thing to try is to delete tie GBF file in the Perpetuum directory but I assume you've already done that.

Do you get any error messages or strange events in the log files? I doubt it though. An interesting problem that I've not heard of before. Hopefully a Dev will know what to do. smile

Perhaps let me try delete the GBF file.

What I did previously is copy the GBF from my desktop to my laptop hoping that would solve the issue, but it was the same.

I assume it re-downloads when you delete it. Maybe this will fix it.

I have the same issue.  Its playable but uh.. some ground would be nice, feel like I'm back in eve floating around...
