Topic: Rep gain from assigments are broken

Do you know if a lvl 1 assigment gives the same amount of rep if you have 0.01 or 1.50 reputation with a corp? Someone answer me on help chat that assigments had diminishing returns, I doubt it.

So, I made a test myself. I got those 2 geoscanning assigments really close to the Terminal and run them over and over.. (btw this is another topic, those assigments need to be nerfed.)

The result is that I went from 0.81 to 1.70+ reputation with 1 corporation running the same lvl 1 assigment and adding 0.05 rep every run, no dimish return affect at all.

This need to be changed, lvl 1 assigment shouldnt give any rep at all after you pass 1.01 reputation.

Edit: I changed the title to better reflect the problem

Re: Rep gain from assigments are broken

Graphical intepretation

the dimishing returns sets in a bit later, as you should be able to see there

Re: Rep gain from assigments are broken

Well that is wrong, I just got to 1.96 nd still getting 0.05 each run will stop at 2.10 and go to bed.. will update later

Re: Rep gain from assigments are broken

After running the lvl 1 assigment (geoscan) a few more times I got to 2.20, and after that I receive 0.04 instead of 0.05... but still, it isnt the exponencial graphic posted above. I got 0.04 a few more times and... I went to bed.

So, in 2 hour running, zero risk, you can go from 0.70 to 2.20 rep, doing the same lvl 1 quest.

Rep from lower lvl assigs need to be cap!

Re: Rep gain from assigments are broken

So, just to close the (test) night.. below is a nice screenshot shwoing that lvl 3 assigmnets give 0.00 rep

Devs, plz take a look into this.

Re: Rep gain from assigments are broken

The diminishing returns for lvl 1 assigments start at 2.20, then again at 2.60, but still it gives more rep then lvl 3.

Are the lvl 3 assigments giving the right reputation?
