Topic: Paints, how to restore them?

Probably I've missed something. Old patchnotes says that you simply need to pack/unpack your robot to restore paints....It doesn't work. Actually, I've tried that in many ways - no result. So anyone can help with that?

I think it was changed sometime ago.
Still, try to pack it and stack with other bots  of the same type(if possible)

Didn't tested with stacking, should work IMO, thanks. Still, I wonder why it's not just packing as they mentioned.

That sounds pretty weird, since when you package a robot it loses all its unique properties in theory.

Well currently packaged robots keep their paint, at the very least if its completely stripped.

They keep it if packaged, being moved to different storage folder / slorage / other robot cargo etc.

They only keep missing paint when packaged if they have lost ALL paint and then you never get the paint back. I liked it as a feature.

It has been this way for some time and I assume the "Uniqueness" of a robot isn't being correctly cleared once the robot has all paint removed. smile
