Since now it is no longer possible to delete a character and free the EP that has been used anymore, I feel that it would be very useful to be able to re-roll a character.
It would work in a reset-like manner. It would remove all skills, free all EP, standings, history, corps everything and then you could give it new appearance and so on.
The character would keep its name!

The new system gives you 30 days to fix mistakes as a newb. Its not designed to let you reroll because you got nerfed or something else got buffed so now you are going to do the FOTM cool thing, whatever that is.

No. There's a reason why that system was scrapped.
If you spend 50,000 EP in the wrong area of suddenly want to change factions it's just going to take time to get it back. There is no real harm in being partially trained in all areas any more due to the attribute removal apart from additional type to specialise but level 5 is enough to be good at something without being the best at it.
Resets are no longer needed. Sink 500,000 EP into mining and don't like mining any more then you should have made a more diverse character or made a selection of alts that can do anything.
