Topic: Armor Nexus Module active when logging produces armor damage

i am not sure if this is a bug or intended game mechanics but after discussing it in the help channel i decided to make a post about it.

you get armor damage when you logout in save mode wile the armor nexus module is running.
when you log back in the base stat of your armor is correct but damaged.

i hope this is enough information for the devs to reproduce this event.

Are you getting damaged while logging out safely?
When someone is locked, they can't log out

he gets damage from the NEXUS effect, not a weapon....

I was in squad with Nivorbian and what he is talking about is this :

You have your armor stats, say 4000 points.
Now the nexus armor module is turned on, this gives you say... 250 extra points.

now say the module is turned off, or you do a save logout.

Now you should be back at 4000 points right ?
But you will see you have 3750/4000 armor, the 250 extra points have become 250 points of damage.

Not sure if this is intended or a bug but imo you should be back at 4000/4000 points.

I all so wonder if its intended than when the nexus module kicks in, your max armor goes up but not the armor itself.
In the above example when the module is turned on you will get 4000/4250 armor and not 4250/4250 armor,
must be a pita when you first have to rep the whole squad.

This is not intend. A long time ago the same thing happened.
The issue seem to be the order in which the effect is removed. First it lowers your maximum armour and then also removed the bonus which seems to cause you to take damage.

A simple fix for the devs would be to edit this and make it so that you can never have, even if hard coded, more armour than your maximum and then they would only need to reduce your maximum armour.
