Topic: misc slots?

Can anyone give me any detail on what the ‘misc’ slots are used for on robots? In the help channel the only person that could answer me was a dev who said ‘for energy weapons’ and didn’t elaborate, looking through EVERYTHING in the market, I couldn’t find anything that used the ‘misc’ slot, all weapons were turret or missile, all modules were head or legs.

Anyone?
