Has anyone tried negotiating with the Nians? I don't recall anything in the lore, seems like we just hacked in and are taking what we want. I can see their point.

Then again, negotiating from a position of strengh never hurts either. Good thing the three factions are at war with each other, and have little time to worry about us taking a few small parcels.

As I got it the initial virus was also made for the purpose to contact the Nians though as stated it had overwhelming side effects that could be used to our own advantage.

And one can wonder how long they stay in a state of disarray, as I dread the day they get themself organized again as I got a feeling we only have a very small part of Nia in our hands. So not sure if we are already in that position of strength to negotiate in.

Our hold on the beachhead isn't unbreakable, if all three factions were to make a coordinated attack, I believe the syndicate would fall. But luckily, they still don't preceive us as a major threat, and that the likelyhood of them forming an alliance to overcome us is unlikely.

Maybe when we start attacking those larger Islands.

For syndicate protection, some of those teleporters may have to be set to one-way...

We could go in-depth with this discussion, but that's not the point of this thread. Suffice it to say even the basic building blocks of the brain have very little to do with Turing machines. Any analogy between the brain and whatever we have sitting in front of us (or even what CERN uses to process collisions) is simply pointless.
