Topic: Medals

I think corps or individuals should be able to award medals to people
Bronze 1 mil, Silver 10 mil, Gold 100 mil, Platinum 100 mil, Diamond 1bil Nic

Received medals would be displayed on character sheet.

Lets the rich show off and waste their Nic, since Nic is worthless to some corps I am sure they will award lots of them.

I of course should get a free Gold medal for suggesting such a great Nic sink

Re: Medals

Aluminum is such a neglected metal.  I want an aluminum medal!

Arga, if you're out there, get to it!

+1

Anything that can motivate johnny to earn more nic is priceless.

Re: Medals

You vastly underestimate my apathy towards doing anything useful in the game.

Re: Medals

Just by attempting to quantify it, I've exceeded it.

Re: Medals

I'm only letting that misguided comment slide because your character is bald.  Well that and we're derailing this thread from being an otherwise productive discussion about yet another one of the millions of features that the community is demanding from a fairly small dev team (expectations set high much?).

Re: Medals

I prefer to think we are doing a community service, the devs read the suggestions and they either like it or they don't, the rest of the thread is about increasing awarness. Beside, I'd rather have them working on this instead of nerfing Observer kernels.

Re: Medals

All optional NIC sinks can only be good smile

Further, I'd definately want a diamond medal...

Re: Medals

Oink...

No, I don't think pig iron is worthy of being allowed to interact with the elite metals listed above.

Re: Medals

How am I going to feed an elephant?

Re: Medals

Hey, I don't harvest all these stupid plants becuase I care about production, you know.  Start shelling out some NIC and I'll fire up the Sequer's harvester to feed your wrinkled, grey elephant.

It's wrinkled, but it's pink.... and it refuses to eat anything other than norgalis.

Re: Medals

I like pink elephants and I'll have a chat with Mister Manuel Noriega about the matter.  I'm not sure he'd be partial to your elephant eating him, but the worst that can happen is that he says no.
