Topic: Short term and long term goals

Hi everyone.

ive been playing this game for few days now and i like it. But im wondering, what are the goals in this game?

I guess its all about grinding assignments and getting the relations higher. And in a long term getting a heavy mech or two tongue.

Whats everyone elses goals? What are you going for? What motivates you? What do you want to achieve next?

Re: Short term and long term goals

I want to be able to indulge my bot/mod/ammo habit without having to "work" eventually. That is my ultimate goal.

What are your goals in life?

I think you mostly aim for pew pew, so I'd say it would be to set a good goal. Well you kinda already did. So to achieve your goal - get a better mech or two - keep running assignments, then sell kernels on the market - they are a good way of profit. Browse the market fr what type of mech you want next after this one you already piloting. Make yourself a plan to which skills you will need to pilot it and train them first. At the same time improve your specialization skills, that if you specialize on anything.

By doing assigments - you kill mobs and get kernels and junk from them. Kernels bring good profit and you also get money from assignments and seeling junk. For people who drive combat mechs this is probably the best way to make money since every researcher in game needs kernels and there are some who are doing quite well money wise and will pay a good price for them.

Re: Short term and long term goals

I don't have goals, I take each moment as it comes.

I enjoy putting people in a position to be blown up on the beta islands, however, and when I'm not doing that, I'm preparing for when I am.  For me, this means acquiring EW mods and minerals for EW bots.

Re: Short term and long term goals

I think.
The ultimate goal in game now, you can join the best corp/alliance in the game. When you earned that, you will have many little goals.

If you want earn this goal, you want play hard, and they find you.

I hope the game will have other goals. But this goal is enough now.

Re: Short term and long term goals

Im a hybrid char so I intend to experience the games industry, mining and pvp. Naturally at a slower pace than specialised chars, but im happy with that. Rather see it all at a slower pace on one acct.

Re: Short term and long term goals

With this, my indy character, my goal is to make dosh. With my alter ego, my combat character, it's to learn combat in these games as I never really did in Eve.

Re: Short term and long term goals

Combat toon = kill more than be killed

Indy toon = build more *** for combat toon.
