Been here a week - subbed and not in any corp at all while I work out things a bit for myself and learn about the political landscape.

On a few occasions I've seen random NPC bots wanderring around.  I've killed a mining bot (that jammed, demobbed, drained me) and an assault bot.  I also saw a "bipedal" one at one of the Alpha stations.  Later, I watched as a bipedal, with 2 miners, and 4-5 light bots moved along a path (the bipedal seemed to get stuck doing a moonwalk and got killed by 3/4 player assault bots).

Do these things just randomly spawn anywhere in the game?  No set path?  Are they very rare, or quite common?

I like the idea of random NPC patrols that can kill scripted botters.  And also it's nice for me to try my luck at killing them.  Hoping to find some more at some point.
