2click on scanner icon
3close the window that show up whit the results

the exploit: you can get the 10 scans whit only 1 NPC so u can repeat the steps 2and 3 until is over


the missions is intended to scan 10 different NPC not the same NPC

thats not an "exploit", thats just how it works.
Thats one reason why you can only equip one scanner at a time. (in early beta you could fit 4 chassis scanner on one Intakt/Camelion and do the missions in a few seconds)

That is true, the mission tells you to scan 10 NPCs, and it does not exclude the option that you scan the same robot over and over again. What is required here is to spend there some time to create scan pictures. The task will get harder if you reach higher levels of assignments, so you won't just stand there making nice photos, NPC will fire back with bigger guns.
