Topic: Continuous Promotion of PO on game communtiy sites

Since Feb/March I am continuously posting some perpetuum news / content, on most of the german game community sites.

So to get perpetuum better known across a broader community. Of course, with the goal of drawing more players into perpetuum and admitting, doing a bit of recruiting for SK.

For a "non-insider" it is still very hard to stumble over perpetuum. From the feedback of some german players,  the "promotion" seems to work as well. Try google

I am posting a few of my thread links, which I have opened in various german game communitiy sites.

Maybe other players want to post their national based game communty sites thread links as well.

So players can contribute to your post, keeping it up to date, keep it indexed by google, draw attention to perpetuum and hopefully get more players to perpetuum, which probably wouldn´t have even known about the game otherwise.

This is a good time to do so, with the new Patch out. Plus its a good and free way to advertise the game.

I postet 20 Trail Keys, which I got from the Dev´s for promotional use, when we didn´t have trial keys yet. Checking my google analytics (on how many hits we get on SK site, form which refers), this seem to be one of the most successfull pormotions :

We are certainly seeing more players online now, most are probably release players that went inactive, but there's probably a good number of new players here.

Are we seeing the goldfish bowl theory, where population increases to fit the available space? Using the very small metrics we have now, that would be about 150-200 players per 6 islands!

Ok, there's not enough data and too many factors that have nothing to do with map space to make that leap smile but its fun to look at.

What I really like is the big dip in the US time play zone has flattened out; temporary, but hopefully it won't be as big a dip as it was pre-expansion.
