Options on the top bar on the left, then go to keyboard. you can set your keys how ever you want

He is probably asking because there is no option to set hotkeys for hiding or closing active windows smile

The reason is pretty simple: there is no such thing as an active window, the GUI doesn't support window focus yet.

Ok, like when i have my map up and i hit the "M" key it closes, but when i it the "M" key again to bring it up it starts from beginning loses all my mining stuff that i had up. So if i had a hide key it would bring it back like i had it?

You can use the minimize button on top of the window for that, but there is not hotkey for it.
