Good *** job guys. No way is this p2win in any way, being a one time deal.
sparks is still purchasable, this should not been here, thats all, in any low level or effect
Wtf are all you people *** about? Most of you are 1.5 million EP accounts!!! Who cares if someone can pilot a mech efficiently day one??? This is a step in the right direction to not have the same 45 people online. Good job Avatar creations!
Oh god I agree with Ville.
But seriously about time. *** the haters, add more shizzle to the cash shop (like everything from black bots to mk2 mechs to pvp ammo) and then next time a sale comes round make your basic package free, premium 9.99 etc.
The most important thing in this game is you have a reasonable population. Get 700-800 actives in game and then worry about everything else, even if you have to give out free *** to do it. This game is amazing fun with a population and all of your problems stem from the lack of one. If you had 800 new people you would probably get another 500 older players coming back.
Your nearly there, keep going!
Today we're introducing new premium packages and upgrade kits for Perpetuum. The newest blog post explains everything you need to know about them:
Also Zoom, one trick I think you may have missed (or I misread the blog) is that these kits should be purchasable as upgrade kits for existing players. Only once per account but theres a whole group of people who already own the game who might pay for a free 300k ep.

This paragraph says just that
Of course the individual upgrades are also available outside of the premium packages. So if you are an older player, you can also purchase these in any combination* and enjoy the same goodies like someone getting a whole premium package for the first time as a new player. (Hence the name "Upgrade Kit".)
* Each upgrade kit can be purchased only once for each Perpetuum account.

What if none of your accounts are steam accounts though? Could you not add a credit based or account page based option? *** steam

Note that these packages are currently available on Steam only, but we'll offer them in our own store soon as well.

I suck at this, i'm going back to bed.
The EP-packages are a nice touch, I dont mind them. Might bring devs som extra hungarian pesos
Lowering the base game price I think is a great idea, hopefully that will attract some more players
The idea is to have sustained growth right? So having a cheaper game stimulates that. Why? getting a SCI FI MMO game that's B2P under the $10 range would be amazing, I checked out some of the under $10 deals and let me tell you, they suck. Honestly, perpetuum is a better game than half the games on page 2. So even if we have 5 to 10 new players joining the game a day, that's still better than waiting for a sale to hit. Then big push for new players......then it falls off..... All I am saying it's not pay to win and lets hope, and I do mean hope. We do well!

Take a good look at this picture and tell me what you see?
This should be public knowledge but I couldn't decide yet where it's best to post this.
The two new sparks will always reappear in the redeem list until you have a character on your account that doesn't have those sparks unlocked yet. We made it this way so you don't have to choose which of your characters gets them.

I see a developer trying to close a 5 year gap by allowing new players a chance to catch up. I see a developer trying to offer different choices to a very demanding customer base. I see someone trying. Which is why I bought the DLC. Which is optional.

And I see: the miserable green, mediocre blue, and powerful yellow. As in perpetuum. We need to rebalance.

Something that I can agree with, go yellow or GTF.
Liking these. I wish EVE did something similar tbh. I may have to pick up some of these packs.

If it wasnt for the fact I am a green pilot I'd say , however I am green so...
Nobody want to play a game with only one choice: Yellow, packages don't matter when you have only one option.
What's the eta till the 9.99 change?
I have a question. Without reading this topic or another thread. How do players on the steam store page for this game know what they are buying for each one of those packages? Like usually we see a little description under each package explaining why you should buy it.

I'm getting out the crayons for you! http://pasteboard.co/dOLAlwj.png
Is that further down the page? And is that going to be there forever? Or will it get pushed down in 6 mo with a new update?
Because typically this is where I stop http://imgur.com/pGeAvVQ I don't scroll further down.
Why no ICE option to buy in steam???
That's going to stick there yes.
What you have in mind only appears when there is a sale, and shows you the included items and how much you save. I think so at least, because there is no option for that.
